I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have contacted me, both privately and through this blog, to commiserate over the death of my sister. I have been overwhelmed by your good wishes.
My sister was a wonderful person, who was a gifted artist and calligrapher. She will be sadly missed.
I will be back in a few days.

My condolences and hugs to you. My younger brother died 4 years ago and it has left a huge void in the family.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry I have not read any blogs for several weeks and missed your post about your sister. Hope good memories can sustain you in your loss.
ReplyDeleteOh Tich, I am so very sorry to hear about your sister. I do know how you feel as I lost my sister when she was only 36 and I still miss her. I so long to be able to sit and laugh with her so I try to do so in my heart! Know that I am keeping you in my thoughts!

So sorry to hear about your Sis. Sisters are such special people. Those who do not have a good relationship with theirs do not know what they are missing out on. Cherish your memories.
ReplyDeleteDear Rosemary
ReplyDeleteI read about the loss of your sister after a lady gave me your name on an Australian SCQuilter yahoo group. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and also about the fact you have no quilting store on your island.
Don't know if you have heard of a RAK (random act of kindess) but I will be happily sending you a RAK soon.
Big Hugs
