There is going to be a new Internet magazine for quilters!!
It is only $11.99 for the year's subscription, that is twelve issues PLUS an extra issue free! Yes, that's right, a baker's dozen for only $11.99. Oh my Scottish blood is jumping. Imagine getting a magazine for less then $1 an issue and that is not all. The magazine has the following features -
- You can print and file the portions of the magazine you wish to keep.
- You can easily organize all the articles and patterns in a binder.
- You get at least five patterns in the magazine and
- You will have instant access to the magazine hot off the press. No waiting for the mail to arrive.
Now for the best bit - No 1!

Hello there Tich,
ReplyDeleteI think that you are missing a period after the "www." I've gone to check out the magazine and I am pleased that I saw the word "Canadian" in it (for one of the ads)...so the magazine will be relevant for me. I like the idea of how there are BOMs. Thanks for introducing me to the mag!

Peggy
Your link is missing the period after the www. As written it doesn't work. I went to the sight and saw the table of contents of the first issue...I want to win that subscription! Alot of runners which I have 'resolved' will be my 2011 projects...I've never made a runner yet and I've been quilting off and on for 20 yrs! for shame! :)
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to win a subscription. I have already subscribed because I don't want to miss an issue!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to have a chance to win a subscription to the new magazine - it looks great!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

I am looking forward to seeing the first issue of this new emagazine and would love to win a subscription. Sounds like you live in a wonderful spot. I would love to get to Scotland some day. Always good to have a dream, right?
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! The magazine does look wonderful...I love the fact that it won't take up any space in my house! And, I can dedicate a memory stitch just for the magazine each month...and have the entire collection in one place! How great is that!!
ReplyDeleteKathy
WOW Rosemary...the magazine looks great! Saw Rosa's post this morning and just had to pop in and see all the news!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for an opportunity to subscribe to "Quilt Pattern" thru your blog contest!
Please enter me....
Hugs,
Elaine in SLO, Ca
Well I'm not as isolated as you but the idea of an online magazine sounds a great one! My nearest shop is 10 miles away and at the moment the roads are like a sheet of glass, several are blocked and the snow keeps falling!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy Christmas!
I have already paid for a subscription, I just couldn't take the chance that I would forget and miss the first issue.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait.
This new magazine looks like fun with the 2 blocks of the month. I think it will be good to store the patterns on the computer. My bookcase is getting too crowded.
ReplyDeleteYou do live in a beautiful location, but it is a bit remote. Understandable that shopping is a problem. Love the idea of an online magazine to help us out in our remote areas! Would love to win free subscription; but taking no chances, I have subscribed anyway.
ReplyDeleteWould LOVE to win a subscription to this magazine!!!
ReplyDeletePls add my name in your drawing!!!

ReplyDeleteI would love to win the subscription. I like the idea of an online magazine.
ReplyDeleteI am excited to have a chance to win a subscription.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! Many quilters don't have access to buy magazines at the local store. The e-zine is perfect and much more economical.
ReplyDeleteHave enjoyed the blog hop introducing the new magazine :) Hope I win a subscription! Thanks for the chance. (Now to refresh your title page so I can see the rest of the blog ;)
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea. Thank you for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteFun, Rosemary! Looks like a nice magazine. Have you seen Fat Quarterly? It's another on-line magazine that I subscribe to. It's also quite fun. More of a "modern" feel than a traditional quilting feel. Don't know if you like the more modern look.
ReplyDeleteOh how fun is that! How wonderful would that be to have it just available online like that and not have to wait for snail mail or go to the store!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideal! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteYour home does seem very remote but somehow you make it sound warm and cozy. Thanks for letting me visit online for a while!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad it is green and we don't have to pay for postage. pamspinks.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI also live in a remote location, but not on an island. No ferry - just a mile and a half of trail to the car and then about an hour to town in good weather. I think online magazines are made just for folks like us, don't you?
ReplyDeleteHope Scotland is having better weather than some countries near by! I love the idea of a green subscription...
ReplyDeleteVery excited about the new online magazine!!!!
ReplyDeletehi Rosemary, I'ld love to win the magazine!
ReplyDeleteWishing a merry Christmas from Southern Germany to your island
Brigitte
Thanks for stopping by. I love finding another Celt, so I am now following your blog. It really is a wonderful idea to have a digital magazine.

I would love to have a change to win a subscription on that magazine, its looks great !! Hope you had a wonderful christmas !!
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! So great to have everything on the computer! And so much easier to find patterns when searching for something!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of an online quilting magazine. I already use an ereader and like the chance to cut down on the paper in my house. More room for quilting!
ReplyDeleteI used to live between Wick and Thurso, but not as remote as you!
Thanks for your comment. I agree with you about the stacks of paper you use, if you print out patterns. The emagazine is a great idea. Where do you live now?
ReplyDeleteGood Luck
tich
